the

or
any

editorial

14. TERMS OF SERVICE
By accessing or using the CzechPitstop application ('the App'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ('Terms'). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the App. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
Account Responsibility. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
Acceptable Use. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not use the App to:
- Post, upload, or share any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable
- Engage in hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation with any person or entity
- Post spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotional material
- Distribute malware, viruses, or any other harmful software
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or to the App's systems
- Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the service
Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Any user who violates these Terms by posting objectionable content or engaging in abusive conduct may have their content removed and their account permanently suspended or terminated without prior notice.
Intellectual Property. The App and its original content (excluding user-generated content) are and will remain the exclusive property of CzechPitstop s.r.o. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
Termination. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CzechPitstop s.r.o. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.
Governing Law. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
CzechPitstop is a community-driven platform. To ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all users, we enforce the following community guidelines:
Content Standards. All user-generated content, including forum posts, comments, messages, and reactions, must comply with these guidelines. Content that is illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, or otherwise objectionable is strictly prohibited.
Content Filtering. We employ automated and manual content filtering mechanisms to detect and prevent the publication of objectionable material. This may include keyword-based filtering, automated moderation tools, and manual review by our moderation team.
Reporting Objectionable Content. Users may report objectionable content directly within the App by using the reporting feature available on forum posts, comments, and user profiles. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We encourage users to report any content that violates these guidelines.
Blocking Abusive Users. Users have the ability to block other users directly within the App. When a user is blocked, their content is immediately removed from the blocking user's feed, and the block action is reported to our development team for further review. Blocked users cannot interact with the user who blocked them.
Moderation and Enforcement. Our team is committed to acting on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours of receiving a report. Enforcement actions may include:
- Removal of the offending content
- Issuing a warning to the user who posted the content
- Temporary suspension of the offending user's account
- Permanent termination of the offending user's account for repeated or severe violations
Appeals. Users who believe their content was removed or their account was suspended in error may contact us at support@czechpitstop.cz to request a review of the decision.
16. ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT AND DELETION
Account Creation. To access certain features of the App, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Community Guidelines, and our Privacy Policy.
Account Deletion. You may permanently delete your account at any time directly within the App through the Profile Settings screen. Account deletion is irreversible and will result in:
- Permanent removal of your profile information, including your username, profile picture, and account details
- Deletion of all your personal data from our active databases
- Removal of your forum posts, comments, and other user-generated content
- Cancellation of any active subscriptions associated with your account
